Spirit of Virginia Award

The Spirit of Virginia Award celebrates persons and organizations who are Strengthening the Spirit of Virginia.

The Spirit of Virginia Award salutes Virginians for their uncommon contributions in private industries, education, culture and the arts and philanthropy. Award recipients will embody the catalytic and compassionate elements of S•P•I•R•I•T.

Governor Youngkin's Cabinet Secretaries present award nominees to the First Lady. The First Lady in partnership with the Governor considers the candidates and selects a recipient for each award, totaling six recipients each year.
